This section includes a summary of Altmetrics, that proposes a set of metrics to show diferent impacts from the ones coming from Hercules SGI or websites of scientific publications.
Altmetrics measures the impact in four levels:
- Specific research object (e.g. article)
- Sources of scientific publication (e.g. journal)
- Scientific production of a researcher.
- Scientific production from a group or institution.
